The challenge
Web3 communities are easy to inflate and hard to keep active. The goal was real members who join, take part and come back, spread across several Telegram groups, plus a social presence that explains the project to people who are not already deep in crypto.
My role
I was Community & Social Media Manager on a freelance, remote basis from September 2023 to February 2024, running the Telegram community and the social channels. The role ended when the company closed.
What I did
- Grew the Telegram community across 8 groups with gamified reward campaigns on Zealy and giveaways.
- Focused Instagram on short-form video and Reels.
Results
- Telegram grew from 5K to 9K members across 8 groups.
- Instagram grew from about 950 to 2K followers.
What I bring to Web3 and crypto communities
Web3 and crypto communities stay active for the same reasons: clear quests, visible rewards and content that gives people a reason to come back. That is the playbook I bring to Telegram and Discord communities.
