On camera: esports host for ENC 2026 and street reporter for İlave TV
Live esports hosting and casting for the European Nations Cup 2026 qualifiers on Twitch, and on-camera street interviews for İlave TV's YouTube channel across five Turkish cities.
European Nations Cup 2026: host & caster
I hosted and cast the opening day of the qualifiers live on Twitch, carrying the broadcast between and during matches.
İlave TV: street reporter
The challenge
Street interviews live or die in the first seconds. You have to stop people who are busy, get them talking on camera about current affairs, keep the crowd in hand, and still come away with footage that works both as a long YouTube episode and as short Reels. Then you do it again in a new city, with a new crowd.
My role
I was the on-camera reporter, working on-site with the production team. I opened every episode, chose who to approach, ran the interviews and managed the crowd live on the street.
What I did
I hosted interviews in Ankara, Antalya, Çanakkale, Denizli and Muğla. Each episode opened with me on camera setting up the question, then moved straight into conversations with people on the street. Keeping the energy up and the conversation moving mattered as much as the questions: the strongest moments were the ones where people stayed, argued, laughed and drew a crowd.
The same footage had to work in two formats: full episodes on YouTube, and short, hook-first clips for Instagram Reels. Moving between five cities also meant adapting fast to different crowds, a different pace and different reactions to the camera.
Results
- The videos reached 700K+ views on YouTube and 2.5M+ views on Reels: more than 3.2M views in total.
- Interviews hosted in five cities: Ankara, Antalya, Çanakkale, Denizli and Muğla.
Why it matters for gaming brands
Hosting a booth, an interview series or a creator segment uses the same skills: getting strangers comfortable on camera fast, keeping it entertaining, and delivering footage that cuts well for short-form. That is what I bring to esports and gaming hosting today.
